Detailed Itinerary

 Day 1 : Yangon

day 1Arrive Yangon in the morning and after Immigration and Customs, your guide will welcome and greet you. He will hold a board with your name on it. One the way to your hotel see the Kyauk-Taw-Gyi Pagoda which is the largest Buddha Image in world carved from one piece of marble, Shwe Taw Myat Zedi (Buhhda’s Replica Tooth Relic Pagoda) enshrined one of the two Replica Tooth Relics which was kept together with Buddha’s Tooth Relic from China in 1996 and  Kaba Aye Pagoda (World Peace Pagoda ) which was built in 1952 to commemorate the Sixth Buddha Synod in 1954 and then proceed Maha Pasana Guha (The Great Cave) which is located in the ground of this Pagoda.

 

After check in the hotel, take relax for a while. Afternoon visit Chauk Htat Gyi Pagoda which is a beautiful and huge reclining Buddha image 70 metre(230 feet) long in the pose of rest: the head is lifted up by the right arm bent athe elbow and China Town where is to enjoy our modernized city life, to try out local snacks at the plenty of clean, interesting streetside food stalls as well as to visit the century-old colonical buildings with magnificent architecture.In the evening visit the famous Shwedagon Pagoda. Overnight at Hotel in Yangon.


Day 2 : Yangon – Sittwe – Mrauk U (By Flight & Boat )

day  02After breakfast depart Yangon for your flight to Sittwe.  Upon arrival in Sittwe transfer to Jetty to take a private boat trip  along the Kaladan River to Mrauk U about 4 to 7 hours upstream by enjoying river life and fantastic sunset beauty  from the boat. Pick up Jetty and transfer to Hotel. Overnight Hotel in Mrauk U.


Day 3 : Mrauk U

rakhainAfter breakfast, all day sightseeing in Mrauk U including visit to colourful city market to see the local people’s traditional way of life and their fresh vegetable and regional products from the surrounding villages, Pharaouk Pagoda, Mong-Khong-Shwe Du Stupa Pesi Paya with 5 stone Buddha images on the hill rock, Koe Thaung Temple (a shrine of 90000 Buddha Images) built by the King Mintaikkha in 1553 AD,  Latt-Say Lake which is an artificial lake with the city wall and a gate  and Mahakyan Sanda Muni Buddha Image located in Bandoola Monastry which has a lot of ancient bronze images with Rakhine-style.

 

In the afternoon continue to Shit Thaung Temple, a curiously remarkable temple with 80000 Buddha images and reliefs built in 1536 AD in Mrauk U,  Htaukkan-Thein Temple like the fortress and noted for the interesting stone sculptures, Andaw Temple enshrining the tooth-relic of Buddha , Ratanabon Stupa, Laymyatnar Pagoda built by Min Saw Mon in 1430 AD and noted with four entrances of the pagoda face for four directions, Laungbankpyauk Pagoda locally know as Plate Pagoda because there are some glazed flowers there that look like a plate, a small library called Pitakataik built in 1591 by  King Min Phalaung for  the Repository for the Buddhist scriptures. In the enening see the panoramic sunset view from Harritaung Hill. Overnight at Hotel in Mrauk U.


Day 4 : Mrauk U – Lay Too Chin Villages (By Boat)

rakhainthuAfter breakfast, drive to Nan Kya Village and then take a boat trip up along the lay Myo River to visit Lay Too Chin Villages which are famous for their old custom of tattooing their women’s faces with their traditional colourful fabric and Necklace, weaving of chin-style fabrics on wooden looms and their traditional beverage (Khaung Yee).n the afternoon return back to Mrauk U. Overnight at Hotel in Maruk U.


Day 5 : Mrauk U – Thandwe – Ngapali (By Flight & Boat )

day 51After breakfast, check out of hotel and transfer to Jetty to return Sittwe by Boat. Pick up Jetty and drive to  Airport  for your flight to Thandwe (Ngapali Beach). Pick up from Airport to Hotel. Relax on the rest of the day. Overnight at Hotel on Beach. 


Day 6 & Day 7 : Ngapali

day 6  7Free and easy on the beach or swimming and sunbathing on un-spoilt beach or visit by bicycle to nearby villages to observe their daily lifestyles and  swaying coconut palm and casuarinas trees. Overnight at Hotel on Beach.


Day 8 : Ngapali – Yangon (By Flight)

day 8After breakfast, transfer to Thandwe Airport to fly back to Yangon. On arrival in Yangon visit the Scotts (Bogyoke Aung San) Market (closed on Monday) for shopping, National Museum which was founded in 1952 and displayed an extensive collection of traditional art, Ethnic Cultures and civilization of Myanmar people,  Epigraphy and Calligraphy, National History, Royal Regalia and Lion Throne, ancient ornaments. And then proceed to Gem Museum which displays very famous precious stones of Myanmar such as rubies, sapphires, pearls and jades until transfer to airport airport for your International departure flight.
