Day 1 : Yangon

 day 1Arrive Yangon in the morning and after Immigration and Customs, your guide will welcome and greet you. He will hold a board with your name on it. One the way to your hotel see the Kyauk-Taw-Gyi Pagoda which is the largest Buddha Image in world carved from one piece of marble, Shwe Taw Myat Zedi (Buhhda’s Replica Tooth Relic Pagoda) enshrined one of the two Replica Tooth Relics which was kept together with Buddha’s Tooth Relic from China in 1996 and  Kaba Aye Pagoda (World Peace Pagoda ) which was built in 1952 to commemorate the Sixth Buddha Synod in 1954 and then proceed Maha Pasana Guha (The Great Cave) which is located in the ground of this Pagoda.

 

After check in the hotel, take relax for a while. Afternoon visit Chauk Htat Gyi Pagoda which is a beautiful and huge reclining Buddha image 70 metre(230 feet) long in the pose of rest: the head is lifted up by the right arm bent athe elbow and China Town where is to enjoy our modernized city life, to try out local snacks at the plenty of clean, interesting streetside food stalls as well as to visit the century-old colonical buildings with magnificent architecture.In the evening visit the famous Shwedagon Pagoda. Overnight at Hotel in Yangon.


Day 2 : Yangon – Bagan (By Flight)

Day_2After breakfast, transfer to Yangon Airport for early morning flight to Bagan. All day sightseeing in Bagan including visit colourful Nyaung-U local market;Shwezigon Pagoda , a prototype of real Myanmar stupa, which started by King Anawrahta and completed by King Kyansittha ; Kyansittha Umin Pagoda built,a tunnel tunnel with an interesting feature of paintings; Gubyaukgyi Pagoda in Wetgyi Inn Village, a cave temple with exquisite murals paintings of Jataka Scenes on the exterior walls, built in the 13th century; the elegant Htilominlo Temple from 12th century noted for its plaster carvings;  Tharaba Gate and Archaeological Museum.Afternoon visit Gawdawpalin Pahto one of the largest of Bagan’s Temples; Dhammayangyi, a massive temple with the finest brick-work; Famous Ananda Patho with four huge standing-Buddha imags (9.5 meter) and four high teakwood gates(10.6 meter) and numerous seated figures in niches around the galleried interior (the best preserved masterpieces of Mon architecture); traditional Lacquer-ware workshops; and then see the fantastic sunset view from upper terrace of Mingalazedi Stupa the last of the Payas to be built before the decline of the Bagan Era or Shwesandaw Paya which was the first Stupa built in Myanmar. Day 3 : Bagan

day 3After Breakfast, proceed all day tour of bagan including visit to famous Izagonna temple for paintings and to see a panoramic view of the Bagan area; the famous Payathonzu temple with the mural paintings the 13th Century;  and  Dhamarazika Stupa (12th century) the largest Pentagonal Stupa in Bagan. After lunch Manuha Temple with gigantic Buddha Images built in Mon Style at the end of 11th century and built by the captured King Manuha;  and Nanbaya Temple to the the best unique sandstone monument; Myingaba Gu Byaukgyi Temple which has beautiful and ancient mural colourful paintings and which was preserved by UNESCO; Shwegyugyi temple and Thabinnyu temple, the highest of Bagan temples and visit Myinkaba Village. In the afternoon enjoy a short sunset cruse over the Ayeyarwaddy River from Bupaya. Overnight at Hotel in Bagan 


Day 4 : Bagan – Mandalay – Amarapura – Innwa (AVA) – Sagaing (By Flight)

mandalay 1After breakfast, transfer to Bagan Airport for morning flight to Mandalay. After check in Hotel followed by your tour of Mandalay including ancient city Amarapura and Mahagandayone Monastery where more than 1000 monks follow Buddha’s status (teachings) and observe young monks listening to the teaching of eminent Theravada monks. And then drive to the ancient capital Innwa (AVA, located on an island between Ayeyarwaddy and Myitnge Rivers). Take the local ferry and pass through by horse cart to visit the ancient city walls and stucco monastery called Maha Aungmye Bonzan (also known as Ok Kyaung). Continue to Sagaing, where hillsides are dotted with numerous pagodas and monasteries and visit to see a craftman’s workshop to see Kalaga tapestries being created, a traditional silk and cotton weaving workshops, woodcarving and marble carving workshops.In the evening enjoy sunset at 1208 meters long U Bein Bridge across the Taungthaman Lake (the world’s longest Teakwood Bridge.  Overnight at Hotel in Mandalay.


Day 5 : Mandalay – Mingun

day 5Wake up early morning and visit famous Mahamuni Pagoda face wash ceremony with its spectacular Buddha image covered with thick layers of gold leaves. Return to Hotel for breakfast. And then take a leisurely boat trip across the Ayeyarwaddy River to Mingun and see the world’s largest  ringing bronze  Mingun Bell cast in 1808 and weighting 90 tons,  and the wonderful Mingun Buddhist Home for the Aged founded in 1915 and visit Mya Thein Dan Zedi and then return to Mandalay. In the afternoon, visit the Golden Shwenandaw monastery noted for its exquisite wood carving, Atunashi Monastery(the incomparable Monastery),  Kuthodaw pagoda with its 729 marble stone slabs of buddhist scriptures (the World’s Biggest Book), Kyauktawgyi Pagoda; a large Buddha image carved out of single block of marble.In the evening see the panoramic sunset view of the city  from Mandalay Hill.Overnight at Hotel in Mandalay.


Day 6 : Mandalay – Inle (By Flight)

day 6After Breakfast, transfer to Manalay Airport for your flight to Heho. Transfer from Heho airport to Nyaung Shwe  on the edge of Inle Lake,the second largest lake in Myanmar and located 900 m above sea level and famous for it  unique one leg-rower Intha people  and then take a private long-tailed boat to your hotel.

 

If lucky, explore the colourful congregation in one floating village which is held in different villages every five days and attracts numerous ethnic minorities(Pa-O, Danua and Intha) who converge from the surrounding villages to trade their fresh vegetable and regional products and surroundings.

 

All day excursion on Inle Lakeincluding visit  Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda housing five sacred and almost shapeless Buddha images because of the quantity of applied gold leaf, gifts from the believers and the holiest religious site in southern Shan State, the weaving village of In Paw Khon , the Nga Phe Kyaung or “Jumping Cat” Monastery with a beautiful collection of antique Buddha statues and one of the oldest monasteries on the lake.In the afternoon visit typical wonderful floating gardens, the rotating rural market and native method of fishing and village life. Donot forget to take a nice photo if you see the Padaung women with the long neck and see the sunset the sunset from the middle of the lake with floating boat. Overnight at Hotel on  Inle Lake.


Day 7 : Inle –Indein – Inle

day 7In the morning your boat sail 45 minutes trip to the western shore of Inle Lake to Indein village. The boat takes you through a long indein creek and do a short trek around Intha Tribe Village and observe their life and visit the ancient thousand of Indein Pagodas. In the afternoon visit silversmith workshops, goldsmiths and traditional handicrafts-silk weaving on wooden handlooms, blacksmith and cigar making factory. Overnight at Hotel on Inle Lake.


Day 8 :  Inle  – Yangon (By Flight)

day 8Morning fly back to Yangon and the Scotts (Bogyoke Aung San) Market (closed on Monday) for shopping, National Museum which was founded in 1952 and displayed an extensive collection of traditional art, Ethnic Cultures and civilization of Myanmar people,  Epigraphy and Calligraphy, National History, Royal Regalia and Lion Throne, ancient ornaments. And then proceed to Gem Museum which displays very famous precious stones of Myanmar such as rubies, sapphires, pearls and jades until transfer to airport airport for your International departure flight.
